Syndicate 1967 underwrites a worldwide portfolio of direct and facultative insurance and reinsurance and participates on selected program business.

The Property portfolio is a key element of the syndicate’s product offering and we have the ability to deploy up to US$10,000,000 per risk accumulation for 2010.

Alastair Blades leads the property underwriting strategy supported by Scott Campbell and Laura Wells who have the day-to-day responsibility for underwriting.  With over 50 years of combined underwriting experience, the team has demonstrated great consistency with clients and brokers, navigating them successfully through insurance market cycles. We have a proven track record of providing leadership, in terms of evaluating, structuring and pricing risk. Our flexible underwriting lets us consider full value, primary or excess layer structures, dependent on the size and nature of the risk.

We believe there is significant demand for an alternative leader in the Lloyd’s subscription commercial property market. Therefore, we are now building the syndicate’s lead capacity for the benefit of clients and brokers.
