Christopher (CT) joined the syndicate in October 2009 to start up the Contingency account of Syndicate 1967.

Christopher began his career in Lloyd’s in 1974 and worked on the claims side up until 1999. “Moving from the world of claims to underwriting is a challenge, in my opinion there is no better way to learn about underwriting than from the claims side.”

He joined the new syndicate after 7 years from another Lloyd’s syndicate where he was a recognised lead underwriter in the contingency market.

Externally he sits on the Lloyd’s Contingency Business Panel and the IUA’s Contingency working party.
