Laura joined the syndicate in September 2009 to help build an international property book.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds a bachelors degree in Financial Services Management from Napier University in Edinburgh.
Laura started her insurance career in 1994 for a treaty reinsurer, and prior to W. R. Berkley, worked for ten years in the Direct and Facultative Property underwriting team of a leading Lloyd’s business. She has previously sat on the Lloyd’s Under 30’s Non-Marine Committee and led the 2005 USA West Coast Tour.
