Mike joined W. R. Berkley Corporation in July 2008 to lead the project to establish W. R. Berkley Corporation’s underwriting platform at Lloyd’s. This was successfully achieved in early 2009 when Syndicate 1967 received approval from Lloyd’s to underwrite from 1st June 2009.
Previously Mike was CEO and Active Underwriter of one of the main underwriting businesses at Lloyd’s (Syndicate 2987). Prior to that he worked in the company insurance market and originally commenced his career in banking.
