Paul Simmonds - Head of Accident

Paul joined W. R. Berkley Corporation in July 2008 to assist in the development, establishment and launch of the syndicate, and to lead and develop the Accident & Health and Contingency accounts.

Previously Paul had been underwriting in the company market for 6 years and in the Lloyd’s market for over 20 years. He has been involved in underwriting these classes throughout his career.

Paul has worked primarily in London though he was transferred to the home office of a major US insurer to help develop and control their worldwide Accident and Health account.

Paul is a moderator for the exams department of the CII.
