Louise Nevill Named as Head of Marine
W. R. Berkley Syndicate 1967 today announced the appointment of Louise Nevill as Head of Marine. Louise will develop the syndicate's marine capability, which will fulfil an original ambition of the syndicate to be a leading provider of accident, contingency, marine and property classes in the Lloyd's market.
She joins the syndicate after 10 years with a major Lloyd’s managing agency where she led their marine businesses.
Commenting on the appointment, chief executive officer Mike Sibthorpe said, “We are excited to welcome Louise to the W. R. Berkley team. With her strong credentials in the marine market, we will add value to our business partners and clients worldwide.”Approved by Lloyd’s to commence underwriting on 1st June 2009, W. R. Berkley Syndicate 1967 concentrates on underwriting accident, contingency, marine and property classes of business as well as providing an international underwriting platform for clients of other W. R. Berkley Corporation member companies.
